Guest guest
Sharyn, thanks for the info. My friend has been on it for years for fibro and it has really helped her. She is on really high doses though. What dose are you on? hugs

I took 100mg of the neurontin last night and slept pain free for the first time in a long time. The dr told me to start with 100mg and I could up it. If I wanted to try a dose in the morning I could do that too. If I needed I could go to 3 times a day. Pretty much left it up to me to work it out. Said max dose is 900mg 3 times a day. Geez....don't think I'll need that much.LOL Will keep at it to see if it helps with the pain. Hope you are having a good weekend. hugs
Guest guest
Hey Sharon, I have fibro also and was wondering, does it feel like hot pokers in the side of your knees when you bend them? Sometimes I swear somebody had a voodoo doll poking needles in it with my face on the front of the doll. HAHA I think I will try the Neurontin since I also have diabetes bad and neuropathy. Hey I cant get anymore nuts my family thinks. SO why not try. Also the sides of my elbows, my neck ,hands oh heck the whole body hurts. I saw something about having to do with how the brain responds to pain, I knew I had a mental problem didnt know what though HAHA. Take care and good luck with your meds. Guest guest
Hi I have the pressure points of Fibro. But my skin hurts to touch. I get all kinds of pains here and there and everywhere and some are really hard to describe. I too have diabetes but still only have to watch diet and take medication. However when my Rheumy put me on the Pred after DX me with RP my blood sugar doubled. Have had a hell of a time getting it down, but since he has lowered it to 10 mgs it is at least staying below 200 most of the time. Shoot most of the time my blood sugar is like a dang yo yo, but I do know that any type of bread sends it up so try and stay completely away from bread or anything else high in carbohydrates <sp> Gosh...aren't we the picture of health hugs Sharyn -- Re: Sharyn/ Neurontin Hey Sharon, I have fibro also and was wondering, does it feel like hot pokers in the side of your knees when you bend them?
