Thanks for posting. I am glad to see that I am not the only one who

gets this itchiness around my panc area. It is a wierd feeling

though. I also wanted to let you know that I too, homeschool my 2

kids (ages 12 and 9). When I have a bad day (from pain etc), I just

cancel " school " . I seem to be having more " sick " days each year but

all in all we still get all our required work done. I know it is an

extra challenge with the CP but I wouldn't give it (homeschooling)

up for the world. My kids know me and I know them very well too,

and when I'm sick or hurting they can tell and they offer to help

out, etc. They even offer to do some of the work on their own or we

just simply double up the next day. One thing that I am grateful

for is the fact that they can travel with me whenever for hospital

stays and doc appts. They have learned alot of medical terminology

along the way! Maybe one will be a doc someday (lol). My son also

has gone gluten-free because he says that he feels much better when

he doesn't eat gluten products. He loves sampling all the new

foods. We seem to have very similar tastes. I plan on having both

my kids tested for celiac within the next few years. They both have

a 50/50 chance.

Hope you are having a pain free day.
