Guest guest
Exactly how long have you been scd? Did you start all of these supps pretty much at the same time? The B12 would not cause any problems concerning scd because it is an injection...totally passes by the gut. What other minerals is he taking? My son experienced hyperactivity when we first started B12 injections, and our doctor had to increase dosage on another vitamin to balance his body out. Depending on what exactly he's taking, it could be triggering off more die off. I know that B12 is a vitamin that helps your body flush itself of toxins whether that be chemcials, bacteria, or whatever. That's why I'm wondering if it is triggering more die off. Have you asked your doctor about his change in behavioral symptoms? Meleah scd 05/06 iel 3.5yrs. asd, Ethan 5yrs., Mark 18mths., both nt 1 month on SCD, 6 days on supplements, lost appetitie & weak my 2 1/2 yr old was doing well on SCD (eating like a football player) until a few days ago. he started supplements (dig enzymes, lots of minerals, vit c, magnesium rub, melatonine, glutaphione & b12 shots so far). this morning he has been limp and weak, waking up at 5am and laying on our laps until 1p. he is unint'd in eating or his toys. he hasn't eaten any bfast or lunch and has been like this for a few days now. is this normal reaction to the addition of all these supplements? he is supposed to be detoxing out some heavy metals with the b12 and glutaphione. Guest guest
<<dig enzymes, lots of minerals, vit c, magnesium rub, melatonine, glutaphione & b12 shots so far)>> Which enzymes are you using? Are you sure ALL of the oral supplements have absolutely zero illegal? I think enzymes can trigger die-off..... his symptoms sure sound like die-off or de-toxing. Hopefully, it will be temporary. Did you add all these supplements at the same time? Except for the B12 shots, all of these supplements should be added pretty slowly. The melatonine can make them extremely lethargic. I took melatonine one time and felt drugged for 2 days. Magnesium is a very calming mineral. Glutithione should definitely be started very slowly and worked up to the right dose. I would take out most of these and start with just one at a time starting slow and then working up.
