Guest guest
If you're seeing these symptoms, and nothing else has changed, then I'd suspect the hotdogs. I'd go back to the intro diet for a day or two. As Patty has said recently, that's why you just can't trust a commercially made product. It's so hard to make certain that the product is legal. If you really want your child to have hotdogs, you can make Marilyn's hotdog recipe. I did make them once to use on a trip about two months ago. I made a ton, and froze them. It's something to think about. Meleah scd 05/06 iel 3.5yrs. asd, Ethan 5yrs., Mark 18mths., both nt Illegal hot dogs >I am so frustrated. My son had been on SCD for over 2 months. Guest guest
Pam, I would just pull those hot dogs and go back to what you were using before. It *could* just be a coincidence.... and you might have hit a new round of die-off. It's pretty common at this point. Still, I wouldn't use those hot dogs again. You can go back and do a day of intro if you want to, but sometimes it's enough just to get back on the wagon and move on. It might be something that would have happened anyway.... but either way, it should be temporary. Patti Illegal hot dogs I am so frustrated. My son had been on SCD for over 2 months. When we started we did not do the intro diet so I went back and did it for 2 days things were going pretty well, he did have a day of die off but then started doing really well. Then I gave him the applegate farm chicken hot dogs which have garlic powder. I thought they were they same as the turkey dogs which only have organic garlic. He has been acting up quite a bit and his lazy eye is back. Do you think it is just because of the hot dogs. Do I need to go back to the intro diet again? Thanks for any advice Pam
