Hi!

At long last, I've gotten my act together, made a reservation for us at the

Western Steer in Hickory, and we're all set for our first meeting!

The time: 11 a.m., this Saturday, September 9th.

The place: Western Steer, Lenoir Rhyne Boulevard, SE, Hickory, NC (Exit 125

off I-40). Their phone number is .

Our reservation is for their conference room, at 11 a.m. We're reserved

under the name " MGB Support Group " . The manager was very interested in

hearing all about the MGB. (I thought about making up some new words for the

MGB initials -

Midgets, Gays, and...but thought I might get us into trouble before we

started.) So now she's well-informed about our surgery.

I've heard so far from Leilla Anne, Lori, Lynda Joette, Margaret H., Trish,

Betty, , , Cathy Morrow, Carolyn, Nan, Kathy, her mom Pat -

who am I missing?

Please do come on Saturday, if at all possible. I think it will be a

tremendous help to all of us, preop and postop.
