Hi everyone,

Went for the CT today and I do have an infection in my sinus.

The bone is not infected and I am suppose to continue on the current

antibiotic until the course is done, Monday will be two weeks. Then

I am to call the infectious disease Md on Monday and we will

reevalute the situation. They are still waiting on the blood culture

results. The antibiotics are working, but very slowly. Last week

when it took me down the level of sickness was a 10. Now it is about

a 5-6. It is just staying at this level for 3 days now. I suggested

we bombard it and I could take amoxicilian with it. (Thats what I

took to try and get rid of it before) He said no way.. He said if

things are not better by next week he is doing more testing to

figure it out. I sure hope and pray this antibiotic works some more

so I can just keep taking it until it kills the germs. It will be

nice to finally be rid of this flu feeling. It has been going on

since November. All blood cultures back then were all negative so

all the Mds just assumed it was the pancreas. I guess it was just

ironic that both things happended at once. Sometimes it is so hard

to get them to really listen. They formulate an opinion on what the

problem is and don't vear. I could just slap them sometimes. Yes

their theories are usually acurate, but mine are pretty good too.

I've rambled long enough. Thanks

Love,

W
