Guest guest
Hi There !!! I am not a happy camper today !!! Mr. Ornery is having a Problem once again. His Neck and Shoulders are swollen once more.He looks like he has 2 Ostrich eggs around his Neck and shoulders. He done that once before and ER Dr. did not know what it was. The Only thing the ER Dr. said back then was mmm it is still swelling and I don't know why. So today we went to our regular Dr. and he is ordering a MRI. He thinks it is a fluid Collection. It has something to do with all your Lymph notes. Gee that Man is giving me some more gray hairs. LOL I hope and pray this time the get to the Bottom of this problem. So for now all we can do is hurry up and wait.Has anyone else ever had this Problem ???? Till later be good and Pain free OK. Guest guest
Heidi: So sorry to hear about Don's problem I fequently have this same problem. I broke the head off the humorous at my left shoulder, and after failed attempts to " pin' it , they finally said they " crazy-glued " it back with a compound that they could also " mould " me a new head (on the humorous) to fit into my shoulder socket. My rheumy has told me that there is presently some studies going on RE: these types of " foriegn " compunds being used in our bodies which MIGHT be factors leading to us developing this rare autoimmune disease (RP)!! I also have flareups with the lymph node in my L groin area, and under my arm pits, but the worse " blowups " are always my shoulders, & neck. If I've learned nothing else, I have learned to get to my Dr's ASAP. It's just a yr. ago that they started all these tests & i found this group, but only three weeks ago that I got my " official " RP diagnosis. I need to tell you that I " monitor " the RP site, but have not been active because I guess I'm a bit overwhelmed, frightened, and (cn u believe it .....ME ....) at a loss for words. The emergency runs to hospital over the past years, the 3 or 4 specialists who have all had their " crack " at me are now on my official team, and I am blessed with a super family DR. But it's because of monitoring this site, and hearing from folks like you, that I have learned to " become involved " and let my Dr's REALLY know my needs. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to everyone in the group, who answers my querries, and especially to you Heidi, for adding me to your " personal " e-mail list. I've been staying away from the RP site, these past few weeks. Guess I'm still in a bit of denial eh?, so seeing your e-mails in my mail box, have been of more value than you'll ever know. I hope you soon will let us know that you're at least a little bit happier, and don't forget to get Mr. Ornery to take his medication at the right times, and all his vitamins, so it will soon be " back in it's sleep mode " !
