Guest guest
Half an hour after his first dose of probiotic at dinner last night, our 7yr/asd had his first b.m. in 6 days. Thanks to all for the help-- we tried all the dietary interventions and were just about to give magnesium citrate. He has felt much better today and is frequently asking for the epsom salt baths. Is it safe to give him 3x day? All three children have good appetites but still look pale with dark circles under eyes. Our biggest concern now is ann (4yr/nt) as she seems to be much more affected by this than either of her brothers. She is literally climbing the walls. I am constantly pulling her down from countertops and tables. She is toe-walking, having headaches and getting rather errr--combative with her brothers. All she wants to do today is watch the same video over and over. Noises that never bothered her are now causing her to scream and cover her ears crying: " stop, Stop...! " I hate to write this, but it's as if our only NT child is becoming autistic. Please help me understand what is happening. If this is " die-off " still, when should I hope for a sign that she's coming out of it? Why is she having such a hard time? I'm giving them the charcoal, doing the baths and trying to keep up with their ever-growing demands for FOOD! I don't seem to be able to console her as she is often crying and trying to climb up me saying: hug me, hug me. I am sorry if I am writing too much. We are at day #7 and I'm feeding them the following: eggs, ground beef, chicken broth, carrots, scd gelatin, diluted welch's grape juice, pureed butternut squash, pureed cooked pears, seeded cooked zucchini and a little honey, little banana and little oj/prune per scd to help with constip. Our 22 mos/asd boy can now pronounce " french fries " perfectly, but all for naught! Thank You,
