Guest guest
Michele, Basically maltodextrin is a sugar that's indigestable. If we ingest it, it goes into the gut whole and feeds the bad bacteria. If you are taking something with maltodextrin in it, then you will not be on SCD. It is food for the bad guys. Charlene UC 8 years SCD almost 6 years I have a systemic enzyme that was highly recommended to me for many of my health issues that I've been taking for several weeks now. It has so many good reports of doing incredible things like even breaking down internal scar tissue which I have a lot of & can cause big problems. Unfortunately it has maltodextrin which is an illegal ingredient. I know no one can recommend I take anything illegal, but can someone explain the problems with maltodextrin & how damaging it could be to SCD? It would help me decide if it's worth continuing or not. I've changed everything else for myself as well as the kids. Thanks, Michele ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
Drat; guess it's out then. Maybe there's one out there without maltodextrin. I can look anyway. Guest guest
all fungal enzymes come from fungi fed on maltodextrin the amounts in the enzymes that you buy are trace and far less signifcant than the micro cyrstalline celluose filler verus rice bran oil issues (rice bran oil filler works way better for the simple reason it acts as a preservative) sydney haas used a broad spectrum pancreatic enzyme for one of his " protein milk's " so enzymes are very much part of scd, but missed out by elaine from some reason, maybe because the quality of pig pancreas's had fallen off with factory farming by the time she went to see dr. haas scd has a long tradition going back to before 1880 and you can see the threads in old pediatric textbooks > > Michele, > > Basically maltodextrin is a sugar that's indigestable.
