What a dreadful experience for you and your poor husband. I can make

no comment on the medical aspects but I am so glad you are through

the experience now and I hope they've learnt something about your

response to IV pain meds if ever they should be needed again:

hopefully this won't happen. 's comments are interesting on this

matter.

I'm sorry about the short duration of the effects of the block. I

can just imagine how disappointing that is. I hope you get the help

you need for pain each day until and unless they advise another

block.
