Guest guest
I want to approach this carefully because I know that pork is scd legal. I recently was told by someone with high cholesterol and heart disease that their dr. advised them not to eat pork. The reason was that pigs have a very short digestive track, and they eat anything. With the short digestive system, their bodies do not adequately filter out toxins that they injest. We don't eat a lot of pork, and only buy pasture fed, organic pork when we do use it. I'm just wondering what anyone's thoughts are about this specifically concerning kids on the asd. Has anyone else ever heard this? Rest assurred that I am not advocating omitting pork. I know that it is scd legal. I just wanted anyone's thoughts. Feel free to reply off list if you think that your replies might cause confusion with scd.
