Guest guest
Hello, I am in need of advice. I have checked with the RXLIST.com before asking you all. I have some sort of virus. It's making my pancreas mad because of the body aches and all, but I am dealing with it. My throat is real swollen and it hurts to swollow like crazy. My regular doctor prescribed me Prednisone pills to take and Lidocaine HCL to gargle with. Both of the these have side effects of pancreatitis. I try hard to stay away from anything with that side effect. Whether this is a rare side effect or not, it is still a side effect. Would you take it or deal with the pain from the throat? This is NOT to help my pancreas at all, obviously. I haven't had an attack for more than 2 years and haven't been to a specialist in 1 year and don't intend to go if I can help it for a long, long time. In case it matters I have been diagnosed moderate to severe CP with SOD as well. Thanks for your outlook on this.
