Guest guest
Jumping in here also. LOL I also have the rib pain and I do believe mine is fibro. Mine is all over, back and front and is a constant........No one can even touch my ribs without me screaming and this is always. I do believe this is my fibro though, not the RP but I also get the bad cramping in my ribs and have to rub them and it actual feels like when I do this, that they are " slipping " back into place. I don't know if this is RP related or not, but I do believe like you Sharyn, that my RP was totally brought on my chemicals and pesticides!!!!! TOTALLY!! I took a job 9 years ago in the flower business and developed RP one year later. I have been on numerous drugs (can everyone relate?????) and finally found one that worked, but of course with side effects. Imuran, but labs have been bad. I changed jobs about 3 months ago and have been flare free every since.........desk job, no pesticides, fertilizers, etc......so what does this tell you??? I see my doctor next Thurs and I'm hoping for some great news then. OK, I will close this book now, LOL sorry everyone, just wanted to tell you that my rib pain is fibro related, but the cramping in them is not I believe. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Where exactly do you have that rib pain. >> Sharyn, I'm going to jump in here. lOL I have rib pain alot and it hurts ALL over. LOL Usually starts in the front where it is connected to the sternum and then goes all the way around to the back.
Guest guest
My Rheumy told me that this can happen if your ribs roll. They don't know why, but he does understand how painful it is. I try as I think I said before to cough...this seems to get everything back into place and the pain goes away. Sharyn -- Rib pain and cramping Jumping in here also.
