Great Book!!

For those of you that know the British pop duo Everything But the

Girl.....the male half of the duo, Ben Watt, has a fabulous book out

called " Patient - The true story of a rare illness. " It was written

with regard to his very rare digestive disorder (can't remember how

it was caused but it was autoimmune - something to do with

eisonphils (sp!?), hospital stay and how he began to look at life

while going thru the illness itself, being hospitalized for well

over 6 months I believe. He wrote it himself and is a wonderful

writer. In the end, he was left with only 3 feet of intestine -

they had to remove over 10 feet of his intestines in order for him

to recover (how could anyone really ever recover from something like

that?)

I guess you can tell I love music!! My husband and I have been in

bands ourselves since the late '70s and we have recordings out as

well from the last band we were in. At any rate, you can tell what

one of favorite things to do is?!! LOL!! I'm the singer/lyric

writer and he is the guitarist.

Anyway, if you're interested, get the book (amazon.com has it I

think)....I think we could all relate to it and see how someone else

made it through something horrendous and got back to the other side

of life.......health!!
