Guest guest
, Thanks so much for that update. Yes, we only got to see each other for a few minutes, I was so disappointed! I got there early, before Chrissy even showed up, but as soon as she arrived, it wasn't even 10 minutes at the most before they whisked her out of there and into pre-op. That's probably what was best for her anyway, to get things moving right along, so she wouldn't have any more time to worry and get anxious. She was in pain while I was there, appeared very tired, and you could tell that she was anxious and just wanted to get things started. I'm so glad that the procedure went well and that you were able to talk with her so soon afterward. I have to go to Macon, GA on Friday for the weekend, but plan to visit her on Monday when I get back to SC. I did get the pleasure of meeting the rest of the family, though, and her daughter, Alison, and I had a very nice conversation. Alison is a very beautiful, sincere and mature high school senior, and her youngest, Lilly, just as sweet as a button, too. Her son wasn't interested in talking with some strange lady that came out of nowhere, as I must have appeared to be! After having three sons go through that age, and stage, I understood what he was about completely! Do you know, , if they had her up on the 10th floor, or did she mention what floor she was on? I'll call her tomorrow, anyhow. Thanks again for the update. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
