I have been following the resposnses and in meets where I work " the needs of

the business " expression have come up and usually means that the corp will

do as they want. Best to get clarification from your supervisior.

Not unusual though. Sounds like your supervisor does not know how to handle

your situation. The " human " reaction is that you are taking liberties by

being off work for so long, however employment law usually takes a

completely different view. (My experience in the UK anyway.)

I am planning to join a union to ensure that my employer handles my case

properly, as once my diagnosis has been fully explored I feel that my

absences from work may rise steeply.

Try not top get stressed, but instead find out your rights, simply to be

treated fairly.
