Hey Amy

My name is April I had my surgery on September 1st. I have had 0 problems

(the only thing that is bothering me is the tube that they run down your

throat during surgery has made my throat and tongue very raw) I have had

very little pain, I think the hardest part for me was making my mind up that

I could not eat solids for a while, my mind did not like that at all. I'm

only a few days post op but I can tell you now I would definately do it all

over again and again and would recommend to anyone that has a obesity

problem to see Dr. Rutledge. I am only 25 miles from Durham but I can tell

you I felt so good after the operation I wanted to go home that day, but Dr.

R. felt that it would be best for me to stay overnight just in case, I

figured I had already paid for a whole night anyways might as well follow

the Doc's orders. I left the hospital around 10:30 a.m. the following

morning walked right out of the hospital with no help. My husband has been

great thru the whole thing and I have a two year old son so I know it has

been very hard on him. Believe it or not I am back at work today I am going

home around lunch cause I'm starting to get a little sore. I can't help you

right now with the costs being that my surgery was only last Friday, but if

you have any other questions please feel free to ask away, you can email me

directly at Aprilsands@...

Good Luck and God Bless
