Hi

Really good to see that post from you to each of us. Hope you are not over

doing it and just taking your time with everything. Know you will be back to

normal shortly, but you don't want to rush anything.

My hip? Well not do to good with that one. I was hoping to wait a couple of

years before needing the hip replacement, but doesn't look like I can wait tht

long. Pain is getting really bad...to rate it between a 1 and 10 I would give

it about an 8 1/2 right now. However I'm still hanging in there. I have a cain

that I try and use since the hip joint is now bone on bone. Not to worry I'm a

tuff old bird and have been through so much that this is just one chaper in my

life. Am going to try and perhaps do some work at home after the surgery since

there is no way I can be away from the work I do for 4 to 6 weeks or longer. My

goal is to only miss about 4 weeks, max 6 weeks away from the office. I think

the driving is what will be my down fall or the long periods of sitting here at

work. That sitting is already getting to me pain wize...

Will be able to ask the Ortho Sergeron more the second to the last week of the

month. In the mean time am trying to get all my dental out of the way..have a

tooth to be pulled the end of the month plus perhaps a couple of more. Have my

antibiodic for the first tooth pulling, but will need to get sever more RX from

the doctor. Then I will have to plan on donating my own blood (about three

pints0 no more that 6 weeks prior to the surger. Since I had silicon in my body

normally I would not be allowed to donate blood...I think however since it's my

own blood I should be albe to donate it to myself...

Other than that ...I'm hangin in there one day at a time. Have my good

days and bad days, but hoping they will get better after the surgery....which

should or if I can plan it around the end of October or 1st of November.

In the mean time..you just take it easy...don't worry about me...I'm just fine..

hugs

Sharyn
