Guest guest
Hi Andre, Sorry to hear you've had a little setback again but I was really delighted to read that you'd had some relief at last. I do so hope you get back to that position as soon as poss and go from strength to strength. This illness is so unpredictable. I have had a very good few months since going on the Creon/low fat/no alcohol regime but just out of the blue, and, ironically, after telling my gastro yesterday how well I was doing, I had a dreadful flare-up last night and am still suffering now. No apparent reason. It was almost as intense as some of my attacks back in the 1980's. Nevertheless, and just in case Colin is reading this, I have managed to continue working. I am 58 and will probably retire next year. As you say, people are affected in different ways. I've had symptoms all my life but they have varied in type, intensity, severity and frequency at different times. My disease has gone through many different stages between the ages of 5 and 58! Anyway, Andre, here's to your improvement! Never mind the lawn! Gardening often produces symptoms I find. That's not just an excuse! Hope your next good night in a bed happens very soon. None of us should take life's simplest pleasures for granted. With very good wishes, Fliss (UK)
