Is there anyway to tell what edition the book is? I bought a new BTVC

and then found out later I had the 8th edition. My book was outdated

and I never new it.

If you order from Amazon, for example, it should say right on the page what

edition you're ordering. Then, if they sent you an older edition, I would think

you could return it.

A regular, three dimensional book store should be able to order in a specific

edition, and you could look at it before buying. It will say which printing it

is, and the date, right inside on the same page that contains the copyright info

and ISBN #.
