Guest guest
Hi there! You must be online right now! Glad you're not downhearted and looking forward to greater improvement. I hope you enjoy those celebrations with the family and offspring!! For the first time in as long as I can remember, apart from a half- day last Sept. in vile panc pain pre-Creon, I have spent the day so far in bed. It's now 7.10 pm. Last night was our prom for Year 11 (16 year-olds....last week's was for the 18-year-olds!). Jim was in Yorkshire and I left my house key in my other handbag. When I got home I had to go to my neighbours to pick up a spare key which they keep for us. Of course they invited me in. Instead of going in I said I had to get back quickly....I was so tired. The wife is a retired teacher and the husband a retired anaesthetist so you can imagine that we're never short of conversation...... which we then idiotically proceeded to have in the front garden!!! I was simply FREEZING!!!!! The church where we had Mass was roasting, as was the hall afterwards where the disco was held. I then, in fairly light clothing, froze in the cold night air....it had rained HEAVILY all evening. This morning I simply couldn't move a muscle without screeching. Jim is expecting our neighbours on the other side to send for the police to arrest him any time now! I'm hoping it's some sort of virus but I always worry because my mother, who had pancreatitis, eventually could not walk and spent some years in a wheelchair. They never really said waht the prob was but it was obviously connected with CP. I dread this whenever I have body pains. You'd have been amused at our girls at school. I had warned them to be covered up properly at Mass....I did not want anyone walking up the aisle falling out of her dress!! I threatened old cardigans of mine if they didn't bring something themselves. Well, they DID bring denim jackets etc. to cover up but as soon as we were out of church and off to the school hall for the disco (prom, I suppose you'd call it?) all was revealed! How can dresses which cover nothing at all cost so much??!! Take care! With love, Fliss
