Guest guest
Sorry Kris! I think my brain is atrophied too! Of course I remember now! I think it's the CP which has not been finally proven in your case.....or have I forgotten yet again?! I would be REALLY grateful if you could give me websites for the info you're talking about. I'm naturally very interested in reading more. PLEASE don't tell me you already gve me these and I've forgotten!! I'll be ashamed to post ever again! Yes, it is a bit of a learning curve when you go on a GF diet! I reached the stage where i really took no chances with manufactured food products (although I do have that handbook from the Coeliac Society as well as their updates on the net. It only applies to food in the UK though) and tended to stick to simple, plain foods where I could be sure. Perhaps I've mentioned that my gastro back in 1988/89 told me that a number of coeliacs are also unable to digest lactose because they produce insufficient lactase to do so? If you still have probs after eliminating gluten, it might be worthwhile eliminating lactose- containing foods as well. I know it's a bit miserable but it would be worth it to feel well. I would certainly like to know more about possible connections between CP and coeliac disease. With very good wishes, apologies and thanks!
