Guest guest
, Actually Michele is the one that wants to try this. I was just inquiring as to its legality. I would agree with you entirely. Is there anyone out there that has heard of a legal baby formula? Charlene Charlene, FYI, we went through a hellish year of my daughter on neocate (I had to feed her while she was asleep), not only was the corn syrup feeding her yeast, but she was allergic to corn and coconut!!! You may want to get your child's IgE's and IgG's tested. Take care, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. It would involve a pump at first, and probably a feeding tube connected to the nipple, when there is not enough milk at first. That way the baby is sucking on the breast, and this stimulates the production of milk. La Leche League probably has a book on it, or you could call their 800 number to find local helpers. I know it sounds like a strange long shot, but breastmilk is irreplaceable, and no formula is ever going to come close. There are also milk banks, but this could be probablematic if the mother is eating something that the baby reacts to, and there would be no way of knowing that. And they pasturize the milk, which wipes out all of the antibodies. Anyway, just another alternative. Debora
