Guest guest
That row boat story reminded me of another. A man was in a flood zone and wound up sitting on his roof, with water laping at the eaves. Two men in a rowboat happened by and offered to rescue him. He said, " No, I trust in the Lord and He will save me. " Later, another boat happened by. The man was now sitting on the peak of his roof, with water lapping at his heels. They offered rescue, but he said, " I trust in the Lord and He will save me. " Later, a helicopter flew over. The man was now standing on the peak of his roof, with water lapping at his neck. The helicopter started to come down, but he shouted, " No! I trust in the Lord, and He will save me. " The man later drowned. When he got to heaven, he asked God what happened. " I trusted you. " God's reply? " What do you want from me? I sent you two boats and a helicopter! " Dori Ownbey... " If I haven't grown up by now, I'm never going to.
