Do not wait much longer. Cranial Technologies has a FREE initial consultation

where they will do measurements and make recommendations. The optimal time to

being is approximately 4 months. My son was banded at 6 months and my daughter

will be getting her band in a couple of weeks at 7 months. The treatment is

most effective between 4-8 months. Anytime after 12 months results are

difficult. Time is of the essence!!!! Keep repositioning and LOTS of tummy

time. Good Luck.

have taken her to see her pediatrician and she has seen a physical therapist. I

was wondering how long we should wait before taking her to a specialist. What

kind of specialist? Is there any testing that she should have done in the mean

time? For now her doc is recommending repositioning efforts, which we have been

doing for a month or so. But I wonder what next steps to take as well as the

timing of any next steps if things don't improve.

This is so helpful! Thank you for the information. I didn't realize it was

recommended so soon.
