looking for encouragement...

Hi all,

It seems I see a lot of reports of immediate improvement of some kind, even if

just slight. Are there any SCDers out there that are having success that did

*not* see immediate improvement, but for whom it did eventually come? I've not

seen a single report of this nature.

Monday it will be 7 weeks that we have been doing this. We are not seeing

anything. Still mushy stools in my 22mth old, still constipation in my 9yr old

ASD son, no improvements whatsoever in his Aspergers behavior. We know that our

9yr old and 4.5 yr old have high yeast (OAT test) yet there has not been any

sign at all of die-off. Is this doing anything at all for us????

I am not looking for another analysis of our food and supplements; several of

you have been very helpful with that over the last few weeks. What I need right

now is to know...even if we are not seeing *anything at all* is it possible that

this is doing any good? It has been a very long, expensive, emotionally

exhausting 7 weeks, we are really tired of the monotony of the very short list

of food we are eating, and to not have anything to show for it except for weight

loss is very very disheartening. We even did two days of intro this past week

(except we didn't use carrots this time; one of my kids tested allergic to them

so we used the spinach and green beans we have been eating) and did not see any

difference at all.

Oh, and for the last 3 days, my 9yr old ASD son has had a tummy ache every

single time he eats. I am at a loss as to what is causing it, because it

happens no matter what he eats. Each time he mentions it I feel nearly

hysterical because here is *one more thing* to which I have no answer and don't

even know where to try to find one!

Even if you do not want to post to the list, I would LOVE to hear from SOMEONE

else that did not have instant results but that has experienced improvement over

time. I do not want to give up; the science seems so sound behind this. I just

do not understand at all why we are not seeing anything happen. Please email me
