Heat Rash/Skin Breakdown with DOC Band? Need advice!

My 7 month old daughter just got her DOC three days ago. Unfortunately, we live

in an area that is in experiencing a heat wave and she almost immediately

developed a heat rash. I was concerned on the second day so I took her into CT

and they told us her skin still looked okay and just to move ahead with wearing

the band 23 hours. Today when I picked her up from daycare (which is air

conditioned), the rash had spread and gotten significantly worse in the span of

six hours since I had dropped her off. I took off the band and let it breath for

a while- it is definitely seriously irritated and has a moist " weepy " appearnce

for lack of a better word. I put her to bed without the band tonight b/c it

looked so bad. By the time I saw it, CT was closed for the long weekend and I

will not be able to contact them for the next three days. Any advice out

there?!! I'm not sure what to do as far as putting the band back on.

I would appreciate any help!
