Guest guest
Yes we saw Dr. Singhal. 2. I am not sure how much improvement you will see with repositioining. 3. I tihnk you would be fine to start at 6.5 months. I wish we could have started that young. My daughter was 9 months. Having said that I would go ahead and have the casting or scanning appointment setup. If his headshape improves enogh with repo you can always cancel. I would take weekly photos of the top, back, front, and side views. Try every week to get as close to the same angles. Then you can compare how much improvement has taken place. Angie short version In case my last post was too long, here's a summaryof my questions.1. Anyone had experience with Dr. Singhal of Children's Mercy KC?2. How much can 10mm at 5 months improve withcounter-positioning alone?3. Can a helmet cause the child's forehead toget flat or misshapen?4. If we start a helmet at 6.5 months rather than5.5 months will we add a lot to the treatment time? Thanks!
Guest guest
My daughter started her band at 6.5 months at 14mm and has gone down to less than 3 (normal range) in 9 weeks, but had we started earlier it may have been less time. However, she didn't mind the band at all, and we caught two good growth spurts during the first month. But her grown did slow down during the last three weeks (when she was 7.5-8 months). But it was totally worth it! I love her round head!!
