When I had a surgery I was told to keep wound clean with soap and water. Was to wash it 3 times a day with soap and water then use the antibiotic ointment on it. I am sending good thoughts your way. It has to be hard when it is your face that is hurting. Pred. maybe the wonder drug for us but it sure makes things in life a little more difficult. Your dr. sound like mine. My Rheumy tells me to go to my PCP and the PCP tells me to go to the Rheumy. Do you ever get the feeling that they are all scared of us!LOL I know my rheumy is just trying not to step on the PCP's toes. Take care and keep us posted!
