Guest guest
Sounds to me like you have grounds for a lawsuit, for more than just what is being said to your child. If I get the meaning correctly about " this being old kkk country " I would have that principal, teacher or superintendent by the -alls. No one in the year 2003 should even use that reference in any case let alone when it concerns your child who is dealing with a life threatening illness, dont these ignorant people know anything. I too was from Ohio and in my own case never experienced such blantant discrimination in any form. Do something aboout this situation or it will only get worse > >Reply-To: cfparents >To: <cfparents > >Subject: Re: school >Date: Fri, 12 Dec 2003 19:46:26 -0800 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >X-Sender: Rojas5915@... >Received: from n26.grp.scd.yahoo.com ([66.218.66.82]) by >mc11-f28.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6713); Fri, 12 Dec >2003 19:47:55 -0800 >Received: from [66.218.66.160] by n26.grp.scd.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 13 Dec >2003 03:46:27 -0000 >Received: (qmail 6455 invoked from network); 13 Dec 2003 03:46:26 -0000 >Received: from unknown (66.218.66.217) by m20.grp.scd.yahoo.com with QMQP; >13 Dec 2003 03:46:26 -0000 >Received: from unknown (HELO rwcrmhc12.comcast.net) (216.148.227.85) by >mta2.grp.scd.yahoo.com with SMTP; 13 Dec 2003 03:46:26 -0000 >Received: from rojasandassocia >(c-67-169-9-48.client.comcast.net[67.169.9.48]) by comcast.net >(rwcrmhc12) with SMTP id <200312130346250140041al9e>; Sat, 13 Dec >2003 03:46:26 +0000 >X-Message-Info: JGTYoYF78jGU0kBrj50WxJxyHquFxEjw >X-eGroups-Return: >sentto-104900-53890-1071287187-clog1760=msn.com@... >X-Apparently-To: cfparents >Message-ID: <003601c3c12b$af3c1250$3009a943@inc> >References: ><001901c3c102$7c79fa90$9865fea9@yourczpl0pp1h9> >X-MSMail-Priority: Normal >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1158 >X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1165 >X-eGroups-Remote-IP: 216.148.227.85 >X-Yahoo-Profile: marionjrojas2002 >Mailing-List: list cfparents ; contact >cfparents-owner >Delivered-To: mailing list cfparents >Precedence: bulk >List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:cfparents-unsubscribe > >Return-Path: >sentto-104900-53890-1071287187-clog1760=msn.com@... >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 13 Dec 2003 03:47:55.0407 (UTC) >FILETIME=[E44641F0:01C3C12B] > >Vondie; I think that you should focus on your kids' needs and yours as a >mother >and not worry about criticism at this point--said she, biasedly! >Love to all of you, >n Rojas, wcf, mom of 3 adults, youngest wcf who knows whereof you >speak! > RE: school > > > Okay, > > Let's leave the " little hick town " and " inbred " comments out of this. >I am from a very small town in Tennessee and I resent that remark. > Besides that, people from small towns are generally the nicest people >you would ever want to meet. > > I am also a teacher and can say that 99% of the teachers out there are >not out to get your children. Guest guest
I agree with Cindy, and feel that this may be a case that either the NAACP or the ACLU could or would take on, should Vondie wish it; this is very alarming indeed! Love to Vondie, thanks to you, Cindy, n Rojas, wcf, mom of 3 adults, one wcf RE: school > > > > > > Okay, > > > > Let's leave the " little hick town " and " inbred " comments out of this. > >I am from a very small town in Tennessee and I resent that remark. > > Besides that, people from small towns are generally the nicest people > >you would ever want to meet. > > > > I am also a teacher and can say that 99% of the teachers out there are > >not out to get your children. Guest guest
n I dont post often on here but that email really ticked me off, I hope she does something about that situation and doesnt let it go by. The person responsible for saying such a thing in the year 2003 should be held accountable to more than just the school system. I have taught my children acceptance of all people, and that no one should be hurt by another, whether it be physically mentally or emotionally or verbally. The illness of our children aside, there is no room in the world for such behavior. Happy Holidays to all of you wonderful people who fight everyday for the welfare of our children. We are a small group but we must stand up for each other no matter how big or small the situation is. Thanks to all who have posted this past year, its always good to know someone else can understand our hearts. > >Reply-To: cfparents >To: <cfparents > >Subject: Re: school to Vondie >Date: Sun, 14 Dec 2003 12:15:58 -0800 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >X-Sender: Rojas5915@... >Received: from n12.grp.scd.yahoo.com ([66.218.66.67]) by >mc9-f34.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6713); Sun, 14 Dec 2003 >13:04:07 -0800 >Received: from [66.218.66.94] by n12.grp.scd.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 14 Dec >2003 20:59:05 -0000 >Received: (qmail 62791 invoked from network); 14 Dec 2003 20:59:03 -0000 >Received: from unknown (66.218.66.217) by m1.grp.scd.yahoo.com with QMQP; >14 Dec 2003 20:59:03 -0000 >Received: from unknown (HELO rwcrmhc12.comcast.net) (216.148.227.85) by >mta2.grp.scd.yahoo.com with SMTP; 14 Dec 2003 20:59:03 -0000 >Received: from rojasandassocia >(c-67-169-9-48.client.comcast.net[67.169.9.48]) by comcast.net >(rwcrmhc12) with SMTP id <20031214200611014001nsvte>; Sun, 14 Dec >2003 20:06:11 +0000 >X-Message-Info: JGTYoYF78jHVrAq/T4xfKIiGaioxg9KY >X-eGroups-Return: >sentto-104900-53917-1071435544-clog1760=msn.com@... >X-Apparently-To: cfparents >Message-ID: <000601c3c27f$160187a0$3009a943@inc> >References: >X-MSMail-Priority: Normal >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1158 >X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1165 >X-eGroups-Remote-IP: 216.148.227.85 >X-Yahoo-Profile: marionjrojas2002 >Mailing-List: list cfparents ; contact >cfparents-owner >Delivered-To: mailing list cfparents >Precedence: bulk >List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:cfparents-unsubscribe > >Return-Path: >sentto-104900-53917-1071435544-clog1760=msn.com@... >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 14 Dec 2003 21:04:07.0070 (UTC) >FILETIME=[CFE2EBE0:01C3C285] > >I agree with Cindy, and feel that this may be a case that either the NAACP >or the ACLU could or would take on, should Vondie wish it; this is very >alarming indeed!
