Any ideas what could be used instead of the beans.?(no eggs, no dairy, no nuts) Cathy kids scd 3.5mos -- In pecanbread , " robin " wrote: > > This is great! The chicken nugget recipe that was posted a couple of weeks back is perfect for sneaking stuff in. I know that I recommended it to someone a few days ago, but hadn't tried it myself. iel has been really stubborn on eating the veggies for a while now. I pureed some green beans, minced up some chicken, mixed them together, and voila! I baked them, and they came out crispy just like the regular nuggets. I didn't even use the mayo this time. I hope this helps others...especially you egg or dairy free families. > Meleah scd 05/06 > iel 3.5yrs. asd, Ethan 5yrs., Mark 18mths., both nt > > >
Guest guest
Cathy, I would guess that any vegetable is going to work with the chicken. What is your child eating? I used just chicken(finely minced in the food processer) and green beans(same thing). I just put them in a bowl, and mixed it up. What about carrots, squash, ect? I'm not sure how spinach or other cooked lettuces would do. Maybe brocolli or colliflower would be good to use. You can, of course, season it with salt, pepper, garlic, or any other legal herbs and spices that can be tolerated. Meleah Re: Sneaky veggies Robin, My daughter really misses her nuggets.
