Guest guest
Hey Debbie! The squash buttons are a hit in our household. I am going to have to buy another mini muffin pan! I only have one challenge. I am having trouble getting them out of the pan in one piece. What kind of grease do you use? I have been using coconut oil. Also, do you let it cool before you try to lift them out? Thanks so much! Make sure the pan is well greased, and only fill about 1/2 full. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. You want them to be pulling away from the sides of the pan and look dry and browned around the edges. They will be delicate, so you will need to carefully remove them with a knife by cutting around the edges and carefully lifting them out. They make a good finger food and snack for school.
