I just wanted to take a moment and thank those of you who have opened

your hearts and poured your hurt out for all of us to see. It is not

an easy thing to do and just as it brings tears to your eyes to do

it,

it brings tears to my eyes to read it. It is comforting to know that

each of us is not alone in our hurt and our feelings, even though at

times we think we are. I have thought back over several of the

letters I have read, things I can not get off my mind from strangers

I

have never met. I wish after reading some of the the posts I could

reach out and hug some of you. This pain we share makes us brothers

and sisters with an understanding that a thin person could never

comprehend.

I like this statement I heard somewhere. " We must risk something or

else we will have nothing " . ette in Southern Indiana

ette, what a nice post.we all do share a common bond that a thin

person cannot comprehend..This group is the best in the world..for

all of us post-ops and pre-ops who don't have the luxury of living in

Raleigh and around a majority of the group this has been a God send

to me..we can all talk about our frustrations and our joy and know

the other person will understand..I had my surgery this past April

and would do it a thousand times over..May we all stay close and

bonded by our experience..Safe journey to all pre-ops and I look

forward to seeing all of you on the other side..(its a great place to

be)
