Guest guest
hi all could anyone out there tell me, will this RP affect your back, and in what area's. I have beeen having a bad time of it in my back, the pain is driving my BP up today it was 162/110 i know that is high and i am on meds for it. I hate to blame it on the RP if its not that, also i have been having some dizzy spells again, just about the time i get to feeling better the bottom falls out again. Its kinds of weird, the ears haven't been too bad, but the back and the breathing has been terrible, and unfortunaly my dumb rheumy thinks that if the ears are swollen you are not flaring, so what do i do. this is such a small area its hard to find some one new. dawn
Guest guest
, I have Polychondritis. My Rheumy said I will probably never go into remission. I am on Cytoxan in hopes that it will make the flares less severe. I have been flaring nonstop for over 3 years. Sandy -- RP Question I have a question to ask.Is there a such thing as just polychondritis and not relapsing? If not then when does the relapsing come into the picture.I have been in a constant flare for over a year. I thought this disease is suppose to come and go.Can you have chronic polychodritis?Just wondering.DISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY. I am scared to get off the cytoxan (doesnt that sound odd) because at least it has kept it from going full blown so I dont end up in ICU again. But I have never had a flare free day in over a year. Both ears and throat are real bad right now so he figures we need to try something else. Oh well will see what happens. Hang in there okay! hugs,
Guest guest
, I was on Enbrel for about 6 months. I was also on Metho and Arava at the same time. That combo did not work for me.
