My PCP doesn't like it at times but that is how it is suppose to be. Your rheumy is the only one who really knows about the RP or should anyway. This group is so wonderful! I don't let anyother doctor do anything without his knowledge and/or approval. Will have to tell you about the Neurologist I went to...one time...not going back again...then there was another one who was a real jerk...I sent him a two page letter telling hime my thoughts (in a nice and polite way). Told my Rheumy that's it for Neurologist until I have my stoke...Will say got the man giggling when I told him what I did at the Neurologist office. Ha...so your PCP doesn't like the idea that your Rheumy is the " boss " ? To bad..right Just remember no matter who you see the Rheumy is the " Team Leader " in all of this.
