I found goats milk at my local health food store, it is pasturized and

had a few added vitamins. Will that work for the yogurt or does it

need to be unpasturized? If it will work and since it is already

pasturized can I skip the heating to 180 and use the miracle yogurt

maker were you sit the milk carton right in the machine?

If that will not work, what is the best yogurt maker to buy? All the

makers I have looked at ferment for less time than scd's 24hour

recommendation.

I'm in east central Iowa- any ideas on where to get dccc and fresh

goats milk?

Whether you start with pasteurized or unpasteurized milk, you still have to heat

to 180 degrees F at the beginning of your yogurt making process.... then, cool

it and add the starter and put it in the maker.

I like my Yogourmet yogurt maker.... it is " on " as long as it's plugged in...

doesn't turn itself off. Makes up to two quarts at a time.

I don't know anything about the maker where you put the carton in... sorry.
