Guest guest
Hi Leila-- Yes, it was little Merrick that had a similar spot, although I'm thinking it was a lymph node. It seemed harder than that, so I wasn't convinced, but it has pretty much gone away, so it is likely that it was. Good for you for getting x-rays. Keep us posted on what they tell you. H. > > About two weeks ago I posted that my daughter Maysa had a bump on her head that was sticking out. It seems like it has grown in size so on Sunday we took her in for some X-rays. At first, they told us that we would get the results back within 2 days. Well, today is Thursday and when I called this morning they still wouldn't tell me what the results were (or as they say: the results are not in yet). > > I am worried that it could be a case of craniosynostosis. Is anybody familiar with those bumps? Oh yeah, and by the way, it is not a lymph node because it doesn't move. It feels more like a hard piece of bone sticking out on the back right side of her head towards the skull base. > > Was it Merrick's mom who had also noticed a similar bump on her son's head? If so, is it gone? What are the doctors saying about it? What are you doing about it? > > Parents who had experience with craniosynostosis, what does it feel like? > > Leila > Maysa 10m, almost 3 weeks in DOC band >
