Guest guest
I have been searching for things for my son to eat while on this diet. Since my son can not have dairy or nuts it makes the SCD diet extremely frustrating and limiting. Are there any suggestions on what I can give my son to eat. He is currently eating organic meats, oranges, raisins and bananas. He likes the occasional blueberry and other fruits. He leaves all vegetables on his plate untouched. Are there other flours available other than almond since he is allergic to nuts? Suggestions......Thank you.
Guest guest
, How long have you had your son eating scd? Raisins are a very advanced food, and I would say that oranges are, too. Guest guest
It would help if you could always put how long your child has been on SCD, and for what dx, in your signature line.... that really helps us. There are dairy and nut free recipes on the website www.pecanbread.com . I would be very concerned that he is not eating any vegetables. There are recipe ideas and suggestions for picky eaters on the website.... " sneaky " pancakes and meatballs.... things like that where you add pureed veggies to the meat. He really, really needs some veggies. If he is relatively new to SCD, raisins are much too advanced. Also, you would need to be cooking the blueberries and straining out the seeds and skins, for a newbie. Patti no dairy, no nuts on SCD I have been searching for things for my son to eat while on this diet. Since my son can not have dairy or nuts it makes the SCD diet extremely frustrating and limiting.
