Yesterday he said he thought it was either tendonitis or a flare from RP (in the ankle) or the lowering of the prednisone. So... I guess I just live with it until it goes away. HA HA He did say to take an antiinflamatory drug, but you are already on one. I can't go in the sun either. I think it is from all the medications we take. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Guest guest Posted June 18, 2002 Report Share Posted June 18, 2002 Hi, here's Doris again. Have RP since 1999 (both ears an last year nose). Now i'm on 15mg. Pred and 1200mg Ibu. I feel good with this but have problems with my right leg. Walking is painfull and in the evening it swells. Dr. found only a little arthrose and think it may come from Pred. or it may be only overstressed. Is there someone who have this problem? May it be from RP? It's disagreeable and I feel like a very old woman. Also the sun makes me feel ugly. Today I was 10 min. with my legs in the sun. Result: ugly red patter on part of legs the sun shines on(Oh, what a bad english! Hope you know what I mean! ). Is it possible this also the result of Pred. Never had it before!
