Guest guest
"Judd, Mycal" wrote: Hello, my name is Mycal, And I've been floating about on this list for a while. In December my mother died post transplant for cirrhosis caused by ALD/AIH. The doctor's at Kings College Hospital didn't diagnose AIH until the summer of last year (as they were only looking at the ALD), and by then, mum had been ill for a good 4 years. The main reason for me writing today is the doctors have started to test me for AIH too, as my blood work has been really erratic for the past two years. My GP put it down to mono to start with and told me to rest. After now nearly 2 years of fatigue and headaches, I asked my doctor to run some more tests. These showed my liver function to still be erratic, but he told me not to worry. After getting pain in my lower back, itching, weight loss, and feeling sick all start at the same time, and finding out about my mum and AIH, I asked the doctors to test my liver function again. My liver function test has now come back as ALT 76 and Gamma GT 74, everything else within normal range. The doctor has advised me to go back for another set of tests in a months time. I'm worried because normally, I'm not an ill person, and to start getting all these symptoms, I'm starting to worry a bit. Did anyone on this list start off like this? My GP isn't very helpful when you ask him to do tests that you suggest, so I have ended up going private. Sorry for the ramble, but I am a little worried about what is going on with me, as I should have no reason for all the weight loss and fatigue to start so quickly. Mikey London. Being tested for AIH now. xx

Guest guest
Welcome - it sounds like you are off to a great start. My name is Kathy, I'm 44 and if I can get back into shape, you should have not problem. Kathy Introduction. Hi everyone!I am new to this group. I am looking for some new friends to help me stay encouraged and motivated to workout. I have never been able to get myself into a regular exercise routine. I am now 29 and really want to develop this habit to take better care of myself. I am worried that the older I get the harder it will become! Today I did do the first 15 minutes of my Jane Fonda Step workout. That's all I can do of it now. Then I fast-forward and do the stretching at the end. Hey, it's a start, right? Anyway... I look forward to being a part of this group.

Guest guest
Hi , Welcome! I, too, agree with what everyone had stated previously. It is so good just to start working out again......take things at your own pace and enjoy the journey. Each day you will get better and you'll be amazed at the results. :-) Robin > > Hi everyone! > I am new to this group. Guest guest
, Welcome to the group. There is certainly a lot of motivation here. These ladies and gentlemen keep me on my toes all the time. They offer great reviews too, so you know what workouts are great and what workouts aren't. I'm sure you'll find some fitness friends here! Have a great day! Guest guest
Hi. My name is Robin, and I am the mother of 7 month old twin boys who were 6 1/2 weeks premature. They both have plagiocephaly, one much more severe than the other, but they have both been approved for helmets. We are in Syracuse NY, and will be getting Hanger helmets, probably in the next few days. I'm wondering if other people here have experiences with Hanger, and how do you feel about them. Any moral support will be appreciated.
Guest guest
Robin, I also have twin boys and one of them wore a helmet from Hanger. I was pleased with the progress we were able to make. I was so worried about how he would handle it. He also was 7 months old at the time. He did GREAT...he was such a trooper. I worried for nothing. One thing about about your child having a helmet is that you will get " looks " and comments, BUT as a mother of twins you have already been getting those. SO it really was no different. I put my childs name on his helmet with clear backed stickers and also decorated it with theme stickers. It was so cute! I got them from local craft stores. Make them look cute. It flies by...good luck with everything. > > Hi. My name is Robin, and I am the mother of 7 month old twin boys who were 6 1/2 weeks premature.
