Guest guest
Hi Bob, I also had a biopsy that was inconclusive, but my doc did not say I didn't have RP. My blood work always looks great too. The diagnosis is based on 3 observations of the disease I believe. When I first presented, both of my ears were red and swollen, my nose was red and swollen and I couldn't stop coughing, that was 8 years ago and I've been treated by my Rheumy ever since. Currently taking CellCept, Pred and Embrel - feeling pretty good - have been able to taper the pred down to 8 mg. since being on the CellCept and hopefully will be able to go down further, it's the lowest I have been for a while. Don't give up, I know other people in this group had a hard time getting a diagnosis, I was one of the lucky (?) ones that was diagnosed early and treated early. Patty B. P.S. My maiden name is Estes - what a coincidence?
