Maysa - Head Width Comparison - An Optical Illusion?

Ok, so I was able to find two great pictures of Maysa facing the camera. They were taken about 8 weeks apart. Please look at them (they are in her blog at http://mymaysa.wordpress.com/ ) and let me know if it is an optical illusion to you or if her head looks less wide in the one that was taken yesterday.

To me it looks less wide. I don't think it is an illusion or her hair

or anything. Is the width not something that they were trying to

correct with the helmet?

It's not that we are not trying to correct the width, but aren't parents of brachy babies always told that the band/helmet doesn't reduce the width of the baby's head? Again, I don't know if it's because she has grown in width from her the sides of her face down, if it's the DOC band that did that or if it's because of the few sessions of CST that she's had.

I am glad that I was able to capture it in pictures and that others are also able to see the difference. She is looking so much more "normal" to us every day and we are loving it!
