The raw and juiced vegetables are not until Stage 4 (on the Pecanbread website) and juices are diluted with water. Carol F. Guest guest
I have to disagree here. I do know that Elaine said she *preferred* we use whole fruits and veggies.... and that we peel and cook them and eat the whole food (with fiber) rather than juicing in the beginning. She was uneasy about the very concentrated form of nutrients in fresh juice.... with the fiber eliminated. BUT, she did say that raw JUICES could come before raw whole veggies and fruits.... because juicing removes the more indigestible cell wall. She did want people to dilute fresh juices, yes. However, I think that if someone were wanting to use the carrot juice and garlic as a YEAST REMEDY, and not just as a beverage, she would not have minded this being used for that reason...... even fairly early on. I will stand corrected if need be, but since yeast is such an issue for so many early in the diet..... and yeast can be so opportunistic.... I would think this would be okay, in small quantities. I mean, I doubt very much that anyone is going to be begging to drink great, huge tumblers full of carrot juice with garlic in it. I had trouble getting a few tablespoons of it down Katera, using a medicine dropper. I would start with a small amount..... dilute for sure.... and watch closely. patti....
