Yes, I take pred 10mg (down from 80mg) and plaquinel. Also a bunch of other meds for my heart. I have been on metho and Imuran and sorry to say wasn't able to take the Imuran and not able to decrease my pred on metho. When I started on the Biaxin, I was able to slowly decrease my pred. I did get down to 6mg but had a mix up with the pharmacy and they messed up the pred so I'm back on 10 for the moment. I was lowering my pred before I started on the Plaquenil. My rheumy prescribed 400mg of Plaquenil, but I am only on 200mg now. In my honest opinion, I think I could do without it, buy my rheumy wants me on it to be safe.
