Karyn;

Here is the name that Dr. Sutherland gave me.

F. Markmann MD, PhD

Associate Professor of Surgery

Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania

When and I spoke to Dr. Sutherland about the surgery, I asked him if

he knew of anyone in the Phila. area that would be able to follow after

her surgery. He spoke to Dr. Markman and he agreed to see and accept her

as a patient. We will be meeting Dr. Markman this Friday and then we will be

leaving for Minnesota for the surgery on MAy 5th. From what I have been told he

will accept adults as well as children. I will find out more on Friday. I am

trying to get doctors lined up before I leave for Minnesota. I found out the

hard way after 's last surgery that unless you have doctors in place prior

to surgery, no one wants to touch you.

How are you doing. said to come out to Minnesota and be her

roommate. She is looking for some company while we are out there. I hope today

finds Tull and yourself on a better note. Since we last seen you, it has been a

whirl wind of hospital stays, 30 and counting. I have often thought of you and

am very grateful for your site. and I would be honored to help in any

way. We are finally seeing an end to this nasty thing called pancreatitis. I

am very scared for her and very excited at the same time. I want to see her

live a normal healthy life. Well I am going to have some dinner. Feel free to

give about my name and phone number to anyone who needs help. Many blessing,

Love always, Annette

Annette,

University of Pennsylvania Hospital who will be starting the same program

there. "

It is so good to hear from both you and . I have thought about you

often. I am excited to hear about 's surgery, too. Re: Dr. Markman, is he

a

Gastroenterologist, Pancreatologist, or a pancreatic surgeon? Does he does

adult and pediatric medicine? And, is the U of PA in Philadelphia?
