Guest guest
I love my Yougourmet. It has been making the best yogurt for me. Here is the web site where I found the best price for it. http://877myjuicer.zoovy com/c=PNrNkQXD2QckDDJTEuTFV5c3l/category/yogurt_makers/ -- Yogurt maker I am getting ready to order a yogurt maker and wondering which one people like. I use my oven and a light bulb.. Check out Lucy'sKitchen Shop for more info. www.lucyskitchenshop.com Carol F.
Guest guest
I like my Yogourmet quite a lot. It's very easy to use and reliable. I paid $60 for it.... online. I couldn't find one in any store in my area (Portland, Oregon area). I saw a small Salton yogurt maker in one store, but I really wanted the larger batch capability. I think I went to shopping.com or one of those price comparison websites.... and found that pretty much everyone who carried this one had them priced at around $60. That was about four years ago. I ordered an extra batch container and am very glad I did.... as I can start a new batch before the last one is all gone. I know Lucy's Kitchen Shop has them.... www.lucyskitchenshop.com ... as well as numerous other SCD basics like the yogurt starter, almond flour, Freeda vitamins and SCD cookbooks. Patti yogurt maker I will need to purchase a yogurt maker -- can someone tell me a good one to buy at retail or will I need to order it on-line? What is the price range on these? - --------------------------------- Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Ask your question on Yahoo! Answers. Guest guest
You checked the temp in the middle of the yogurt itself? Or in the outer water bath? You did add water to the outer container before putting the batch container in, right? Patti Yogurt Maker We bought the Yougurmet yogurt maker that Elaine sugested in her book and I noticed that after 24 hours of fermenting the yogurt when I checked the temperature of the yogurt maker it read 119 degrees, I know she stressed that the temperature should not exceed 110 so is still o.k. to use it.
