Dr. R,

I have been researching WLS for several months and have enjoyed being

part of this e-group. Here is my question. Is there another qualified surgeon

with you in the O.R. just in case you need someone to take over the surgery?

Someone who knows this procedure as well as you? Thank you....Debbie Lawson

Hello Dr. R,

I have decided to change insurance plans. My frist insurance option

was denied. so to my back up plan, which is medicaid. I was told and

know, from being an employee of Durham social services , that the

surgery is and will be covered. I must have the surgery, then file

the medicaid and they will pay. OR, I can get a statement from you,

stating the cost of the surgery including hospital stay and they

will issue me a card then, instead of after the surgery.Which way

should I go? Email me privately at cburch@...

Thanks!
