Guest guest
try neat freshly squeezed lemon jiuce. fos. maltodextrin and bifido, thats not necessarily a good probiotic thogh the rhamosus is good. might have gone off jarrow a bit. > I did something so stupid I can barely type it. I gave this morning a probiotic, that I had failed/forgot to refrigerate! (They were out for about 2 weeks.) She has had a stomach ache, and felt flu like most the day. Hasn't thrown up, but did have the dry heaves. Wondering if maybe charcoal would help? Tried a bicarb and that didn't help, and/or made it worse. Guessing it's just something she needs to pass, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know! > Thanks, > Kari > > Here's the specs on the one I gave her: > http://jarrow.com/products/JarroDophilusfos.htm > > Jarro-DophilusT + FOS > Hypoallergenic/Non-dairy > > High Potency Capsules > > Pro-Biotics For all ages > 100 capsules Prod # 03001 > 200 capsules Prod # 03012 > > > Suggested Usage: Take 1 to 3 capsules per day with unchilled water, or dissolve capsule in mouth, 20-60 minutes after eating, or as directed by your qualified health consultant. Guest guest
Re: HELP NEEDED! try neat freshly squeezed lemon jiuce. What does " neat " mean? We do have fresh lemons, thanks for the idea. fos. maltodextrin and bifido, thats not necessarily a good probiotic thogh the rhamosus is good. This was an impulse buy in the first place because they didn't have what I wanted. Guess I really wasn't aware of what I got. might have gone off jarrow a bit. What does this mean? Guest guest
Don't feel too bad Kari. The refrigeration is mostly to keep it alive and active...not like 'spoiling' as we think of food poisoning. She will probably feel better tomorrow. She might have loose stools. These things happen. .

Guest guest
I'd definitely do the charcoal if she's feeling yucky...I hope she feels better soon! We've all done things like that...I'm not sure it's unsafe as much as it makes the probiotics lose some of their potency...Maybe someone else will have a more technical answer... Scientifically, , mom to and HELP NEEDED! > I did something so stupid I can barely type it. I gave this morning a probiotic, that I had failed/forgot to refrigerate! Guest guest
my nearly 4 month old son had very obvious flattening to the back of his head and its very noticeable. the doctor has referred him to a paediatrician who may not suggest to do anything as that was very much the doctors opinion, they tend to let it sort itself, but im really concerned and would like a band fitting. can anyone help with what i can say to them to let them agree to having a band fitted? im in th UK and the nhs system seems to be very tight fisted on the funding of this condition, with a sweep it under the carpet attitude. please help??
