Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who responded to my post regarding antibiotics and it appears that obviously weight is an issue for everybody. I try very hard not to get hung up on it as my daughter is following a growth curve, it's around the 5th percentile but she is following it, she hasn't dropped off it. When you look at her she's got the chubby cheeks and is very portionate for her size, skin isn't hanging off her bones. Her father was a very small and slow gainer as well, he describes how he was always the smallest kid in the class. Anyway, her throat swabs have come back negative and I explained before all her test work has come back great. So really the docs are basing their concerns on her weight. I asked the doc if she were another 5lbs heavier we wouldn't be having this conversation, he agreed with me. So this is why I get frustrated because they their logic is all based on her size. So once again I go back to the drawing board and re-evalute her diet, change her routine to get her eating even more food than she already is just to prove once again to the doctors that she is doing well and in no need of intervention yet. Changing clinics is not an option as there is only one in the city I live in, and I'll just oblige them until I find a better replacement. thanks for the opinions
