Guest guest
What legal probiotics do you all use who have candida/bacteria issues? I can find the lists but I'd like to hear what ones people have used & feel are very good. My son, myself, & possibly my other children may experience some pretty bad die off in the beginning. I'd like to make sure we are using a good probiotic. I'll also give myself & my son charcoal & give him epson salt baths or use the cream from Kirkmans (or both!). He's almost 12 & strong & I don't know how I'll handle a bad die off period (especially if I'm going through it myself since I have severe candida & bacteria issues). I've noticed a few posts on Nystatin. We begrudgingly tried that for our son a couple of years ago. On it he could have put his head through a wall he was so volitile. That went on for over 3 weeks & we finally dumped it. I hope the diet will be a gentler way of ridding him of the yeast. The new pracitioner I've been seeing has seen good things from Diflucan; better then Nystatin she says. Any experiences there? I wonder if we should pursue that with the diet or if I can just use something like GSE to move things along. Thanks again, Michele
